An American Trilogy

Christian at Craft and Commerce made me my first American Trilogy, and my second.  I love this drink.  Rye and apple brandy in an Old Fashioned-style drink?  Yes, I will have another.

This is one of those simple drinks where technique and attention to detail are the key. A little sugar, some Lairds Bonded Apple Brandy, a nice rye, some orange bitters and ice… you gotta watch this video.   The ice prep is huge.
